March Sketch Challenge & Anniversary Blog Candy

Before we tell you about our challenge for this week, we want to remind you about our anniversary celebrations. If you want a chance to win our blog candy just follow these steps:

1. Become a follower, if aren't already one.
2. Leave a comment with a contact email in case you win.
3. Grab a copy of the blog candy photo and post it on your sidebar.
4. Link the photo back to the Sugar Creek Hollow challenge blog.

Don't forget any of the steps so you will be eligible to win all these wonderful crafting supplies.

It is another Sensational Saturday at Sugar Creek Hollow and time for our MONTHLY SKETCH challenge.

This month our hostesses have created a very clean sketch for you but you can rotate it or flip it as long as the sketch is visible in your creation.

Each week we will choose one random winner, who will receive a free digi of their choice from the Sugar Creek Hollow Shoppe and a badge to display on your blog. If you use a Sugar Creek Hollow image you will get two entries in the random draw. Just follow the instructions on the sidebar to link your second entry.

Each week the Design Team will choose a Card of the Week and the creator of that card will get a badge to display. One overall winner will be chosen each month from the Cards of the Week. That person will be invited to be a Guest Designer and participate in the next challenge. An image will be provided to them to work with. The Card of the Week prize will be awarded when we reach a minimum of 10 entries.

Our designers have created some wonderful inspiration for you and we hope you will check the details out on their blogs by clicking on their name. This month Darlene is joining us as a Guest Designer so please make her feel welcome.

Sugar Creek Hollow Anniversary

March is a big month at Sugar Creek Hollow as we are celebrating our first anniversary. Throughout the month we have some special activities planned for you.

March 5 - Tracy, our wonderful owner has put together a lovely package of blog candy that could be yours so just head to the Sugar Creek Hollow challenge blog on March 5^th and follow the instructions. The winner will be chosen on March 31^st.

March 12 - the first Guest Designer chosen from our Cards of the Week will join us.

March 19 - we are having a blog hop with prizes to be won on each designer’s blog as well as a grand prize on the Sugar Creek Hollow challenge blog.

March 26 - we are having a contest to name a new image.

More details on all the activities will follow but make sure you mark your calendar so you don’t miss out on any of the fun.

Winners--Buttons & Bows

It is time to announce the winners for our Buttons & Bows challenge.

Our random winner is Scrap It Girl with this gorgeous handmade box.

She will receive a digi of her choice from the Sugar Creek Hollow Store and a badge to display on her blog.

Once again the Design Team had a tough time choosing from the terrific cards that were entered for this challenge but in the end chose this card by LAUREN.

Lauren will receive a badge to display on her blog and she will be in the running for a Guest Designer spot.

Inside Out Challenge & Design Team News

Before we tell you about this week's wonderful challenge here on Sensational Saturday at Sugar Creek Hollow we would like to share some news regarding our Design Team.

First, you may have noticed that Joseline has not been able to post cards lately. For personal reasons, she has decided to step down from the Design Team. Joseline had been part of the team for some time so we are sad to see her go but wish her well.

Secondly, Julie will be stepping down after this challenge. Julie's work load has caused her to re-evaluate her time commitments. She too has been a valuable member of this team for some time and will also be missed. Maddening isn't it when life gets in the way of crafting.

In the meantime, we will have a couple of Guest Designers helping out in March and April along with the our first Guest Designer chosen from the Cards of the Week. Next week when you come to check out the challenge we will show you who our March Guest Designer is and we will have some really exciting news to share with you.

Now on to the challenge that Sharon and Heide have set for us this week. They are calling it INSIDE OUT and want you to finish both the inside and outside of your card and enter a photo of the front only but show a photo of each on your blog. This part is important as we must be able to see the inside of your card when we come to your blog.
