# 101 - Not A Card & An Important Announcement

The new challenge starts today but before I tell you about it, I would like to announce that this will also be the last challenge here at Sugar Creek Hollow.  For the past five years I have been looking after my elderly Mother-in-Law who has dementia and lives 2000 miles away, which has brought a lot of challenges and worn me out.  I realized recently that the time has come to look after me, spend more time with my Grandchildren, finish projects that have been set aside and create for fun.

I have enjoyed all the years that I have been running and then owning Sugar Creek Hollow and I am grateful for the wonderful talented people who have served on the Design Team.  I especially want to thank Patti Painter for being my backup and a wonderful and treasured friend.  Thanks also to Renee Matarese who looked after the Facebook page until recently.

Thank you also to all of the wonderful participants and the legions of followers.  I certainly hope you have enjoyed what we have provided for you and while not many of you entered our challenges I am sure you got a great deal of inspiration from us.

So on to the challenge and this time it is titled NO CARDS. We want you to make gifts, home decor, altered items, etc. and while they do not have to be Christmas themed you might want to take advantage of the fact that it is that time of year. Your project must be shabby chic or vintage.

For this challenge only a random winner will be chosen provided we have at least nine entries.  The random winner will receive a piece of word art and a winner's badge.  Once this challenge ends in two weeks and the winner is posted, no further posts will be made.

If you were a Top Pick in September, October or November, you will also receive a piece of word art shortly to compensate for the fact that you didn't get the opportunity to be a Guest Designers as the care giving got in the way of my requesting a vote from the Design Team.

The Design Team have created some wonderful final projects for your inspiration.  Please click on their names to go to their blogs where you will get all the details.  While you are there be sure to leave them a little love because they certainly deserve it.

  3. Hi everyone, I'm sure some of you are new and don't remember me but some of you may. I was on the SCH team from March 2010 to March 2013. I was recruited by the original owner and continued to design after Cec took over. She was always such a pleasure to work for. I loved every minute I was on the team. Even after leaving the DT I couldn't quite give up SCH entirely so I offered to run the FB page for them. I've loved continuing to watch what the new designers came up with and will miss the weekly updates on FB. I wish everyone luck and thank you Cec for putting up with me all these years. Merry Christmas to all!

Wishing all the design team the very best, and special good wishes to Cec that quality and pace of life improve for You asap - you surely deserve it. I had a great financial assistance from Dr Pedro a loan officer with a great heart of God fearing Man, Dr Pedro Lend me a loan of 7,000,000 Euro to finance my project at rate of 3% rate pedroloanss@gmail.com Mr Pedro is an honest loan officer working with a huge number of investors willing to finance any project.
Thankfully, over time our relationship grew beyond work and I’m still happy to call him a trusted friend.
